$45 towards $200

I Live Here. I Give Here. I Give for Good.

I went from being an intern that understood nothing about the Community Foundation to being a hired employee that's excited coming to work because I understand a little more each day how much the Foundation contributes to our community.

The impact the Community Foundation makes isn't very direct, so it may be hard to see. You may not know how much help is provided until you understand the assistance given to nonprofits serving our county. The Foundation focuses on supporting donors and nonprofits by connecting generous people to the causes they care for and helping nonprofits to help serve their clients better. A student's education may be funded by a scholarship managed by the Foundation, and a nonprofit's services, programs, and events may be partially funded by the grants the Foundation offers.

The scholarship you received to put your child in the YMCA's summer program or the one you received to go to college; the care your pet got from the SNIP bus; the food the Hollister Downtown Association delivered to you at Hazel Hawkins for being an essential worker; the van that delivered your child to their boxing game from Bulldog Boxing, or the van that transports the child from Chamberlains to their appointment; the repairs made to our mission in San Juan; or the art posters the Arts Council put up that you see brighten up every bus stop-- there is so much the Foundation is actually a part of that you might not realize.

I'm proud to be here a part of the Community Foundation team and hope you will join in!
