The Community Foundation for San Benito County is for San Benito County-- dedicated to supporting the county and all its residents. The Community Foundation connects donors to the causes they are passionate about; supports local nonprofits through a number of programs, services, and grants; and provides information events for community members and scholarship opportunities for graduating students.

Since its founding in 1992, the Community Foundation has directed over 35 million dollars in grants back to the community. Last year, in response to the pandemic and the growing need for safety and stability in the community, the Community Foundation opened the COVID-19 Relief Fund; and has since directed over one million dollars to those impacted by the crisis. Another cycle of grants is to be awarded this year to nonprofits still recovering from the pandemic’s effects and implementing safety measures for reopening. Over $360,000 has already been granted earlier this year to fund nonprofit community projects, and over 60 students in San Benito County have been awarded a scholarship to continue pursuing a higher education.

Every dollar you give helps in the Foundation’s mission to meet the needs of the community and create a better future for all those living within San Benito County. Donations will all be matched up to $50,000 by a generous board member.
